Want More ‘Firefly’? So Does Nathan Fillion!

Nathan FillionIn case you missed the news, "Firefly" will be returning to TV near you in a few months. But if star Nathan Fillion has anything to say about it, it wouldn't just be repeats.

"If I got $300 million from the California Lottery, the first thing I would do is buy the rights to 'Firefly,' make it on my own, and distribute it on the Internet," he told Entertainment Weekly in an interview.

Fillion's words are heartening, and we certainly hope he succeeds in his quest to bring "Firefly" back some day. In fact, there are a lot of actors who we'd love to see bring their concluded series back on the air... like the ones you'll read about after the jump!

Jason Bateman with "Arrested Development"
Almost single-handedly, Jason Bateman created the "Arrested Development" movie that we are still waiting for today. Back when he and Michael Cera were promoting "Juno" in 2007, he fueled the idea for the film until creator Mitch Hurwitz finally said yes -- and while we're getting tired of waiting, we're sure the end result will be well worth it.

Kristen Bell with "Veronica Mars"
Kristen Bell also said she was willing to finance a "Veronica Mars" film... that is, if Warner Bros. would give her the rights. But considering interest is still there after four years, we think she has a shot.

Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn with "Lost"
"Lost" certainly wasn’t canceled before its time, but that doesn't mean the show's stars (and us) don't want more. Even if nothing ever comes of a Locke and Ben spin-off, hopefully Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson will at least be able to homage it in their upcoming non-"Lost" primetime show.

The fans with "Jericho"
Sometimes all it takes is active fan motivation to bring a show back. Back in 2007, CBS decided to bring back "Jericho" for a second, abbreviated, season after fans passionately lobbied them for more. Of course, it was canceled again after that, but that hasn't stopped potential plans for a film.

Would you like to see Fillion create a sequel to "Firefly"? What other shows would you like to see brought back for more? Let us know in the comments section or on Twitter!
